2008 Pacific County Fair 4-H/FFA Livestock Show and Auction Saturday, August 23, 2008
The purpose of the Pacific County Fair 4-H/FFA Livestock Show and Auction is to assist young people with the development of skills and abilities. The Auction's specific goals include: 1) Increased responsibility and judgement of the member; 2) Improved knowledge of livestock production practices and demonstrated skills in putting those production practices to work; 3) Opportunity for young people to meet and become acquainted with business leaders and those who buy their animals and help to finance the show; 4) Provide a financial return as a reward for a young person's hard work and efforts; 5) Create a public awareness of positive and constructive youth efforst in Pacific County.
